A market with a lot of tradition and history where you can find all kinds of local products at the best prices. In what was once the Ex-Convent of San Juan de Dios, the market was finished in 1882. Contemporary Art Museum
Opened in 1992, the MACO is a place of integration of regional traditions and contemporary global culture. Located in what was once a private house of the late seventeenth century, on the facade you can still see the family shields. With exhibitions constantly changing, do not forget to give yourself a tour because you will always find something interesting and worthy to be seen with international recognition.
El Jardín Etnobotánico muestra en vivo cientos de especies de plantas, todas ellas originarias de Oaxaca. Las plantas provienen de diferentes regiones del Estado, tanto de climas áridos como húmedos, de las zonas tropicales bajas y de las áreas montañosas templadas y frías. El Jardín representa así la gran diversidad de climas, formaciones geológicas y tipos de vegetación que caracterizan a Oaxaca.
